Yoga is an ancient Sanskrit word meaning to create union.
This 3 week course will teach you how to connect more deeply with yourself and the world around you using the many interwoven practices of Yoga.
These practices include setting an intention (Sankalpa), various breathing techniques (Pranayama), focusing your attention (Dharana), and a range of physical movements and poses (Asana).
Your teacher, Rachael, will guide you in how to practice in a balanced way, finding both the fire of discipline (Tapas) and the contentment of accepting yourself as you are (Santosha), so that your yoga journey can be one towards ever increasing health and vitality for your whole self – your body, your mind and your spirit.
Please bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothing that you can move easily in.
