In workshop one of a four part annual series, Rachael will guide you through a part-yoga and part-aerial yoga practice with a focus on nourishing and nurturing your energy stores. This is especially important as we enter the sunshine season of the year – Summer! Nature is full and lively during summer and during these hotter months, we can embrace everything our natural environment has to offer.
In traditional Chinese medicine, the element of Summer is fire. Using breathing exercises, gentle movements, and the natural undulations of the hammock, we will support our energy to be radiant and joyful; Balancing our mind with our physical being while maintaining our own fire to help us navigate the natural challenges of life.
A moving meditation with patches of restful stillness, this workshop will facilitate the turning of your energy and attention inwards, allowing each of us to settle into ourselves, comfy in our own skins, soft and open in our hearts.
