Join us at Cocoon of Sound ~ Special Sound Healing and Reiki Immersion
Cocoon of Sound returns to Bend and Fly, with a special immersive experience bringing together the nourishing stillness of sound healing with an added layer of gentle Reiki support. Float into deep rest as you are cocooned in a silk aerial hammock, held by soothing sound while also receiving optional hands-on Reiki energy healing.
This immersion is facilitated by Naomi Pham (Sound Practitioner & Reiki Master Teacher) and special guest Julie Chiem (Sound Healer and Energy Master).
As you settle into your hammock, waves of sound from Crystal Tones Alchemy crystal singing bowls, Himalayan singing bowls, gong and percussion will surround you, inviting the body to soften and the mind to slow down. While you rest, Naomi or Julie will gently share Reiki energy to support a greater sense of ease, safety and relaxation. Together, the silk hammock, gentle sounds, vibrations and Reiki create a soothing environment designed to help you release tension, regulate the nervous system and return to a calm, grounded state. You do not need any prior meditation, aerial or Reiki experience. Simply arrive as you are and allow yourself to be supported.
The session will close with organic tea, giving you time to gently return to the present moment before stepping back into your day.

What is Reiki and how does it support meditation?
Reiki is a gentle Japanese energy healing practice developed by Mikao Usui in the early 1920s. The word Reiki combines Rei (“universal”) and Ki (“life force energy”). Reiki is intended to support deep relaxation, balance and encourage the body’s natural healing processes.
During the session the practitioner may place their hands lightly on or just above the body to facilitate the flow of energy. Every person’s experience is unique, but many people report feeling calm and deeply relaxed.
Reiki supports the meditation experience by:
• Encouraging deeper relaxation: The steady, calming presence of Reiki can help the body feel more settled, making it easier to soften into the sound meditation.
• Supporting nervous system regulation: Reiki is intended to create a quiet, restorative environment that complements the soothing frequencies of the instruments.
• Helping release stored tension: Gentle touch or hands-off support may help some people become more aware of where they are holding stress and support the body to release it.
If this experience speaks to you, consider it an invitation to pause and reconnect with yourself. We would be honoured to hold space for you. If you have any questions, please contact Naomi

Please note, Reiki is a complimentary therapy, used alongside – but not as a replacement for conventional medical care.
