Aerial Therapeutics uses an aerial hammock apparatus based mind-body exercise that aligns with progressive exercise-based rehabilitation and trauma-informed frameworks.
This is the first course of this kind, developed specifically for movement instructors, physical health professionals and mental health professionals. Participants will be introduced to a theoretical and experiential understanding of the therapeutic power of the aerial hammock, in addition to the CreativeBodyFlow (CBF) approach developed by Renae Stevens, which integrates the healing psychobiological processes of creativity, sensory integration and flow state experiences into the application of the practice.
This 20 hour foundation course is a pre-requisite to the 150hr postgraduate Applied Aerial Therapeutics Course launching in Australia in 2020.
