Power, Aerial, Yin, Roll & Release

Carla’s goal is to help her students build mind-body connection. As a qualified acupuncturist, Carla brings her knowledge of anatomy into her teaching to ensure safe alignment and a personalized practice. Her classes will challenge you. Not just physically, but also mentally. Learning to let go of expectation and break through the barriers of doubts and fears the mind often creates, allowing the body the freedom to move with ease.

Nirvana Pilkington

Vin Yin & Aerial Teacher

Nirvana has a love of movement that has taken her on a journey in the realms of yoga, dance, partner acrobatics, handstands, aerial yoga and acroyoga. As a former high school teacher, yoga offered much relief to a high stress occupation, and at the same time a great cross training skill for Nirvana's love of circus training. Combined with her passion for teaching, Nirvana offers a dynamic flow and creative sequencing to her classes. Her playful nature encourages people to explore their edge feeling the joys of taking flight in AntiGravity Aerial Yoga in a safe, supportive environment.

Hannah Kobler

Power Yoga & Aerial Teacher

Lighthearted. Uplifting. Engaging.Originally hailing from the UK and with a background in dance, Hannah studied as an Ashtanga teacher in Ho Chi Mihn City. This initial training gives her classes a sense of discipline, which she balances greatly with an authentic, personal and easygoing approach. This attitude lends perfectly to her now also teaching Antigravity yoga.

Esther, a 350H RYT trained teacher, has been practicing yoga for over 14 years and followed her heart to share her passion for yoga and people. Esther draws her inspiration from Functional Movements, Gymnastics and Power Yoga. Esther loves challenging your strength and stamina - finding the edge of your comfort zone!

Brodie Rees

Vin Yin & Aerial Teacher

Brodie is one of the most loved yoga teachers on the Brisbane yoga scene. With a beaming smile and a warmth in her teaching style, it is easy to see why so many students gravitate to her. Brodie, a Lululemon Ambassador, lives for sharing her love and passion for yoga with others and after 20 plus years experience as a dancer, she has deep awareness and appreciation of the body and breath. Originally being drawn to the physical aspects of yoga, it slowly turned from being about the physical to becoming a beautiful spiritual journey for her.

Michelle Chan

Power Yoga Teacher

As a competitive swimmer, Michelle was instantly drawn to the aspects of power vinyasa and bikram yoga. Since then, she has been a regular yoga practitioner and has been continuously thirsty for knowledge and the ongoing development of her practice.<br /> Michelle first came to yoga through asana practice but she has discovered that the practice of yoga is more than physical movement. Yoga to Michelle is a way of life, living with awareness, mindfulness and intention. In her classes you will find her guiding you through a journey of creative and powerful sequencing, uniting the breath and yogic philosophy to deepen your mind body connection.

Rachael Gibson

Roll & Release / Aerial Teacher

Rachael Gibson is a caring and enthusiastic teacher who has been a leading AntiGravity Yoga teacher in the Brisbane aerial yoga scene since 2012. Rachael has been practising Yoga and Meditation for more than 15 years, and has been performing and teaching Circus Aerials since 2002. With aerial yoga being a perfect combination of so many of her interests, Rachael loves sharing the freedom and flow of AntiGravity Yoga

Lauren Mason

Aerial Teacher

Growing up as a gymnast, Lauren has always felt as comfortable upside down as standing up! After injuring her back during a training session 4 years ago, Lauren turned to Yoga to heal both body and mind.“Yoga nurtured and changed my life in so many positive ways. It lead me onto this path where I am grateful to teach and share the beautiful practice of Yoga, and the joy and freedom of AntiGravity. Lauren's classes include a balanced mix of flexibility, strength and fun with a genuine love of flight!

Katie Havelberg

Power Yoga & Yin Teacher

Katie's ideology is that Yoga makes us believe that the impossible can become possible, with perseverance. “I have a daily practice incorporating a balance of different styles of yoga – Power, Ashtanga and Yin. I became a yoga teacher because I felt like I was being greedy keeping yoga all to myself! Now I have the opportunity to share all of its benefits with everyone.” As a Medical Scientist, Katie brings a focus on functional yoga - anatomy, alignment and building long term joint health & stability – to both her teaching and her practice.

Renae Stevens

Aerial Teacher

Renae is a senior yoga teacher with 17 years of yoga teaching experience & is a certified level 5 AntiGravity® Master Instructor for AntiGravity® Australia/NZ. Her other studies include the completion of the 3 year intensive training program for Personalised Yoga Therapy at the Yoga Arts Academy in Melbourne, a 3 month residency circus arts training at the Beijing International School of Arts in China and physiotherapy foundation studies in anatomy and physiology at the University of Queensland. Renae also holds a master’s degree in Mental Health and is a registered Art Therapist and Yoga Therapist specializing in trauma recovery.

Brendan O’Laughlin

Power Yoga Teacher

A strong teacher who will challenge what you thought possible, Brendan also has a playful side with his love of getting his students upside down. With Brendan’s focus on developing self-awareness, building strength and providing a strong anatomical teaching style, Brendan has become one of the most loved yoga teachers and probably the go to teacher for training inversions and handstands in Brisbane.

Melissa Stoodley

Power Yoga Teacher

With a background in sport and Personal Training, Melissa has a passion helping people through movement. Also a Remedial Massage, Melissa has worked with many of Brisbane’s leading sporting teams QLD Reds, QLD Firebirds, QLD Hockey and Brisbane Roar.Melissa’s class is challenging but playful and believes “yoga is the perfect time to get curious about who you are”. Wendy Schwarzenecker

With a background of 20 years in Intensive Care Nursing (DIP-HLTH-SC / BA of Nursing) Wendy is passionate about physical anatomy, alignment, mental health and well-being. Wendy states her intentions for every class are simple: ``I aim to bring some calm, peace and warmth into this very busy world. The simple idea of time for myself, without guilt or judgment was what Yoga represented for me. The physical practice was and continues to be challenging, however with continuous practice and self-reflection, true inner awareness began to prevail``.

Dan Ross

Studio Owner

With 15 years running health clubs in the fitness industry, health and wellness has always been an important in Dan’s life. But it was in the later stages of this career when Dan found yoga - opening a brand called Yogabox within several of the gyms he co-owned. Dan says “being part of this experience changed my life. I found yoga and was hooked. Immediately I knew there was so much more to health and fitness - it was yoga!” Within months, Dan left his role, travelling and practicing at the best yoga studios around Australia, setting the clear purpose to open a studio up there with the best - but one with a difference and a social heartbeat.

Emma is a self professed Earth Child. Nothing makes her happier than being in nature, amongst plants and animals. Previously a primary school teacher, Yoga for her was, and still is, a way of staying mentally and physically fit. Emma is studying full time to become a Naturopath and so being surrounded by talented, warm and genuine people, perfectly balances out her busy study and work life.
